Guidelines

Governing Principal

The platform is meant to facilitate the development of socially responsible, technically feasible, legally permissible, and economically profitable projects. As becoming operational is the ultimate goal, projects should continually evolve toward contractual maturity.

Project Types
  1. Projects of Type = Implementation are meant to be physical projects of a given technology at a specific location and evolve toward operation.
  2. Projects of Type = Reference can be more contextually informative and flexible. Although more general, they should represent an implementable project technology.
Content

Your project content should be concise, understandable and politically neutral. Political disagreements should be resolvable using the objectivity of economics. As this is a project finance platform, your project document should include some or all of the following elements:

Stakeholders  Feasibility  Plant and Equipment  Legal
CostsRevenueEconomicsConstruction
EngineeringFinancingRisk

Commercial Projects are Welcome

If you're a vendor, showcase your solution or product by creating a reference project that provides information about the economics and operation of it. Commercial projects must be Type = Reference.

Linking to Other Sites

External links to other sites that are relevant, necessary and appropriate are allowed but projects are not meant to be link farms and should stand on their own from a content perspective.

Look and Feel

You have the full xhtml spec available for creating your project content, but you should follow our Style Guide so we can maintain a consistent look across all projects. Stylesheets and Javascript are not allowed. Should you need this type of functionality, contact us about developing a plugin.

Modifying your Project

The projects are yours, but we reserve the right to modify content to keep them within these Guidelines.
